The Goddard Fall Festival is back! If you’re looking for a fun, affordable fall tradition close to home, this is a great option for Affordable Family Fun Day. Happening October 10–12, this annual event is full of small-town charm, free activities, and all the classic fall fun your family could want. This is one of over 20+ Fall Festivals taking place in and around Wichita.
As a Wichita mom, I’ve always appreciated when a festival brings together the best parts of the season, like cozy food, friendly faces, and tons of things to do. Just a quick drive west on Kellogg, Goddard’s festival delivers all of that and more.

Since the 1960s, the Goddard Fall Festival has been a seasonal staple. What began as a harvest celebration has grown into a full-blown fall event, drawing in folks from across Sedgwick County. It’s one of those festivals where kids can roam safely, parents can relax with a funnel cake or local brew, and everyone walks away with a smile.
My girls and I always enjoy the parade, petting zoo, and seeing familiar faces in the vendor booths. It’s community fun at its best, and every year there’s something new to look forward to.
