Free Waste Tire Collection for Sedgwick County Residents and Businesses

Sharing is caring!

If you have some old tires you’d like to get rid of (and you live in Sedgwick County), you can do it free a couple days in April.

Sedgwick County residents can take their tires for FREE disposal to the Sedgwick County West Yard at 4701 S. West Street between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on April 23 & 24, 2021. The flyer says there’s a limit of 100 tires per load. Tires on rims are okay. You should be prepared to unload them yourself.

Businesses in Sedgwick County can dispose of waste tires on April 22, but the service is not available for businesses that accept payment for tire disposal (like tire businesses, car dealerships, auto businesses, etc.).

There are a few limits to keep in mind: 1. No semi-truck loads 2. Limit 100 tires per load 3. Be prepared to unload your own tires 4. There are no public restrooms at the tire collection location.
