Paint rocks to your heart’s content and give back to the community at the ICT Pop-Up Urban Park’s combined FREE rock painting and Paxton’s Stuff the Bus event.
On Sunday, December 16, the ICT Pop-Up Park will have their 3rd ICT Kindness Rocks painting party AND be helping Paxton’s Blessing Box stuff the bus.
If you are not familiar with Paxton’s Blessing Boxes, they are like the Little Free Libraries around town but they contain free food, toiletries and other things that people may need. Here is a list of locations around Wichita.
This event is hosted by Funky Monkey Munchies and Urban Skillet food trucks who will be on location. To help support Paxton’s Blessing Box, bring a non perishable item OR socks, gloves, or hats for the blessing box and you will receive $1 off your order or a free water.
There will also be free paint, rocks and paint brushes to help you create your rock masterpieces. Feel free to bring your own paint supplies too if you have your favorites.
This event is a free come and go event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last. It is open to all ages.
Hopefully it will be a beautiful day. However, since this is an outdoor event, make sure to check the event Facebook page in case the weather looks iffy.

Also on Sunday, December 16, is FREE Chess at Sente, the Wichita Flea Market and the AWESOME TOY SALE!!! in the downtown area, so you might just want to plan to stay and make a day of it!
