Hop on a stationary bike and put the pedal to the metal in a FREE spin class – the Spring Cycle Spectacular. Formerly at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, the Spring Cycle Spectacular will be held at Old Town Square this spring!
On April 27, a free outdoor fitness cycling class is being held by Genesis Health Clubs and Wichita Park & Recreation, who have partnered to promote Get Fit Wichita, a campaign to promote living a healthy, active life in the city.
Certified cycle instructors will motivate you through sprints, climbs, and runs while cycling to great music in Old Town Square!
This is a FREE fitness event for members and non-members age 18+.
Come dressed for a workout. All fitness levels are welcome. They will provide exercise bikes. You might want to bring sunglasses if the sun is shining.
They’ll have four 45-minute classes with 50 spots each, at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. Make sure you register to reserve your bike for this event.
This class is for anyone 18 years old and up.
Although the cycling class is free, pre-registration is required so that you know you’ll get a bike to workout on.
Registration is open now. Click “Fill Out the Form” on the Genesis Health Club website here and you’ll see the registration form drop down.
