Botanica announced that visitors on Tuesday & Thursday nights will get an extra perk with the price of admission: FREE carousel rides!
Happening now through September! – rides on the Khicha Family Carousel at Botanica (a restored Joyland carousel) will be FREE with admission from 5-8 p.m. And don’t forget that families of Kansas schoolchildren can get FREE admission to Botanica through August 15 with the Sunflower Summer app.
WOTC Pro Tip: you can you bring your own food and drink into the garden. Tuesday or Thursday night would be the perfect time to pack a picnic and ride the Carousel as many times as you want. There are so many beautiful spots throughout the 20 acres where you can picnic.

How much is it to ride the carousel at Botanica?
Normally, carousel rides are $3 per person in addition to admission to the gardens. You can purchase ride tokens at the admission desk or gift shop.
On Tuesday nights from 5-8 p.m., carousel ride is included with admission.
Botanica Carousel Schedule
Beginning in April, the carousel at Botanica will operate Monday through Sunday.
Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm • Sunday 1-5pm (weather permitting). Tuesday and Thursday nights open until 8pm. – Free rides with Admission from 5pm = 8pm Please visit the website for carousel off-season hours (November-March).
