This year, the Blue Star Museums program will open on Armed Forces Day, May 15, 2022! (It usually starts on Memorial Day.) Blue Star Museums offers free admission to more than 2000 museums across America for active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It’s a military discount that will keep the whole family entertained on the cheap.
There are usually several participating Wichita museums each year, and this is also a great way for military families to enjoy museums on vacation in other cities!
This year, we have several Kansas museums participating in the Blue Star Museums program. These are now confirmed for 2022. More may be added, so be sure to check the link below to see a complete list of participating museums throughout the summer.
