Sharing is caring!
This summer, Barnes & Noble wants kids to go on an adventure without ever leaving their backyard or bedroom. All they need is a good book and a vivid imagination.
Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program rewards kids (grades one through six) with a FREE book after they’ve taken just eight literary adventures.
Along with their parents, kids keep track of the books they’ve read in their Reading Journal. (You can download a journal here.)
Once it’s complete, young readers can take it to any participating location to pick out a well-deserved reward from a limited selection of children’s books. The program runs from July 1 to August 31, 2022.
This year, Barnes and Noble will also offer a lot of summer reading selections for teens and adults as well, with some at a discount. See the store for more details. (Alas, it does not include a free book. 🙁 )
Don’t forget, the bookstore also offers a FREE Kids’ Club with rewards and special offers — all year-long, including a free birthday treat from the café!
