Family Jam Fest at CapFed Amphitheater

Local non-profit organization Child Start will be hosting a family-friendly music event at CapFed Amphitheater this October.

Family Jam Fest, which will be held October 9, 2021, is a mini music festival for families with young children.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include story-tellers, clowns/entertainers, musical acts, food trucks, and booths for local businesses and vendors…with closing act Koo Koo Kangaroo.

Acts for the day include storytellers such as Rosie Cutrer (Topeka), and Priscilla Howe (Lawrence), dance from the Wichita Children’s Music Theater and Dance (Wichita), singer/songwriter Aaron Fowler (Wichita), Music Together’s Marcee Cosby (Wichita), clown and entertainer Richard Renner (Lawrence) and more! Fox Kansas News anchor Katie Taube will be there MCing the event!

Learn about the importance of quality early childhood education for all children, while enjoying the show. A follow-up virtual fundraiser will raise funds for scholarships and Child Start’s programs that help to provide all children access to quality, early childhood education.

Tickets for Family Jam Fest are $15 for ages 13+, $8 for children ages 3-12, and free for kids 2 years and younger. You can purchase tickets online here now.
