It’s time for a round-up of the best Easter Egg Hunts in Wichita, Kansas! Every year, literally thousands of families search for Easter egg hunts in the Wichita area. And that’s because we don’t just have egg hunts – we do it up right with activities for every member of the family.
Many of these are free events; some charge a nominal fee. All are egg-cellent fun. (That’s for Jody.)
This year, Easter is on Sunday, April 1 – no foolin’! – but most of these Easter events will be happening before that. Grab your own basket, your camera, and your kiddos before you head out the door.
These will be fun and family-friendly spring events. Don’t forget to spread the word to your friends.
Because many of these are outdoor egg hunts, double-check all events before you head out the door!
O.J. Watson Bunny Blast and Egg Hunt 10 a.m. to noon at O.J. Watson Park. Bring a basket for each of your kiddos ages 2-10 and enjoy an egg hunt and fun activities. Admission is just $5 per carload (cash only).
Easter Eggstravaganza at Sedgwick County Zoo 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not a traditional egg hunt! Activities throughout the day; kids can bring their own baskets to collect goodies. Included with regular zoo admission; free for members with ID.
Tulips, Fairies, and Forts at Botanica Every Saturday from March 31 until April 21. A host of games, activities, crafts, and performances will be held amid thousands of tulips in bloom! Included with regular admission.
Will you participate in more than one egg hunt this year? Do you also do your own family Easter egg hunt? (Eggs are almost always on sale one or two weeks before!)
