Bel Aire Spring Festival
Join us for a fun afternoon at the Bel Aire Recreation Center. There will be bounce house, kite flying and food vendors. Wings of the Wind Kites & Toys will be on site to sell kites and show some demonstrations. And of course, there will one of the largest egg hunts in the area with 15,000 eggs! Please bring your own baskets to the hunt. Egg Stroll – Ages 2 & Under 1:45-2:00 This is an area designated for the little ones to hunt at their own pace. Teen Egg Hunt in the dark at Garrett Park. Ages 11-14 can search in the night for eggs filled with candy and prizes. Prize eggs include a $50 and $75 gift card. Participants need to bring a flashlight, collection bag and student ID. This is in Garrett Park in Derby from 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm, and it’s FREE to attend!
PAWsome Egg Hunt. This Easter egg hunt is just for the dogs, where your four-legged friends will collect treats and prize-filled eggs and get a photo with the Easter Bunny. This is at Garrett Park in Derby from 10 am – 10:30 am, and it’s $5 to attend. Find one of the special golden/silver eggs and take home a canine gift basket. Make sure to get your best friend’s picture with the Easter Bunny before you leave! No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat will be allowed for the safety of other guests. All dogs must have current vaccinations, including rabies. All dogs must be leashed and controlled at all times. There are different hunting spots for large and small dogs.

Cedar Chapel United Methodist Church is having an Easter Celebration on Sunday the 21st. We are located at 47th and highway 135. We will be enjoying an Easter Egg hunt and lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers open to the community at noon. It is immediately following our church service at 11am. This is a free event!
