Easter Events in Wichita: Saturday, April 12, 2025

Cookie Decorating: Easter at 10 am – 12:30 ar Orchard Recreation Center. Create stunning designer cookies that look almost too good to eat! Students will learn about icing consistencies, outlining, flooding, wet-on-wet decorating and marbling techniques using royal icing. Then, the design work begins! All utensils will be provided and each attendee will leave with 4-5 decorated cookies. Registration deadline is noon, the Wednesday prior to class.

Easter Events in Wichita: Friday, April 11, 2025

Flashlight Egg Hunt by Mulvane Recreation Commission at 8:15 p.m. sharp. Family friendly fun for kids ages 0-12. Dress in your brightest colors and bring your own flashlight for a night-time egg hunt, glow-in-the-dark dance party, Easter Bunny meet-and-greet, along with games, prizes, and surprises. Admission is $5 per child.

Teen Egg Hunt at Garrett Park in Derby at 8:30 p.m. Flashlight egg hunt from the Derby Recreation Commission for older kids ages 11 through 14. Bring your collection bag, flashlight, and student ID to participate. Prizes include $50 and $75 eggs.

Easter Events in Wichita: Saturday, April 12, 2025

Easter Egg Hunt at Elderslie Farm from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit rescue bunnies (so cute!), enjoy arts and crafts, lawn games and old fashioned Easter egg hunts on Saturday morning. Purchase breakfast treats at the wonderful Bramble Cafe, which opens at 8 a.m. Kids 6 and under hunt first at 9:30 a.m. followed by the bigger kids at 9:45. Elderslie Farm is in Kechi, which is north of Wichita.

FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Lowe’s E. Kellogg from 10-11 a.m. Bring the whole family to Lowe’s on E. Kellogg to enjoy an egg-citing morning of activities, games, snacks, and more. They’ll begin the age-specific egg hunts at 10:15 a.m. Bring your own bakset. Search for the Golden Egg to win a special prize. FREE.

Hop, Hunt, & Brunch at Chicken N Pickle Wichita from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy an a la carte brunch, photos with the Easter Bunny, and a kids’ pickleball mini clinic along with an EGGscellent Easter egg hunt (April 12 only) at 11 a.m.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Towne East Square Mall from 10 a.m. to noon. Hop on over to the Children’s Play Area to have fun in an egg hunt, games and crafts, cookie decorating, and special guest, Bluey. And someone else might come hopping by!!!! FREE

Empower Martial Arts Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon. FREE pics with the Easter Bunny, candy, bounce house, raffles, and more fun. All ages welcome. Admission is free but you do need to RSVP at WichitasBestEggHunt.com

Easter Egg Hunt at Applejack from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $15 ticket price includes a hot dog lunch, or you can get a hamburger/cheeseburger for only $4 more per person.

Easter Celebration at NewMarket Square from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join fellow shoppers at the NewMarket Square fountain plaza across from Barnes and Noble for an Easter Bunny meet-and-greet, face painting, balloon artist, giveaways, and more! Bring your camera for Easter Bunny photos! Free.

Walters Easter Fest is from 10am to 4pm with a ground & airplane egg hunt. The Cadbury the bunny will be visiting; also, capture memories with baby animals on the farm! Egg the Park at Central Riverside Park from noon to 2 p.m. Vima Church will host its annual FREE Easter egg hunt with age-specific hunts, bounce houses, games, hot dogs, snow cones, giveaways, and more. They’ll have over 40,000 eggs. 704 N. Nims, Wichita, KS 67203

Goddard Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. Fun family event for toddlers and kids up to fourth grade. Egg hunts by grades with candy-filled eggs, including special prize eggs, and get a picture with the Easter Bunny. At the Walnut St. ball fields north of Clark-Davidson Elementary. Free.

Evangel Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. in northwest Wichita. Free egg hunt open to the public with free food, inflatables, giveaways and prizes.

Easter Eggstraviganza at Kechi United Methodist Church from 1-2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. They’ll have crafts, cookies, games, Troubles the Clown, Easter Bunny photos and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Free.

Bel Aire Spring Festival from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Bel Aire Recreation Center, 5251 E. 48th St. North. The whole family is in for a treat at one of the largest egg hunts in the area! Our friends, Wings of the Wind Kites & Toys will be there with kites you can buy and some exciting kite-flying demonstrations. Bring your own baskets for the age-group egg hunts; each hunt will be signaled by the lights and sirens of the Bel Aire Police Department. 16 surprise eggs will be hidden among the others! There’s an egg stroll for the littlest ones, too. Free and fun.

Eggxtreme Easter Event by Radiant Church from 1-3 p.m. in Plainview Park in southeast Wichita. Food, jumpies, face painting, carnival games, egg launchers, and more. Fun for the whole family. Free.

Colonial Heights Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt in south Wichita from 1:30-3 p.m. Age-specific hunts, fun games & activities, photo opps with the Easter Bunny, prizes, and candy. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. and closes by 2 p.m. Sacks for the hunt will be provided. Sendory-friendly space provided for comfortable indoor experience.

Cross Point Free Will Baptist Easter Egg Hunt from 2-4 p.m. in southeast Wichita. They’ll be hosting five separate hunts for kids, including a special accessible hunt. Bring your basket to find candy, enjoy snow cones, and possibly win a prize.

Norma’s Spring Bunny Hop at Souders Historic Farm Museum from 2-5 p.m. Visit this historical pioneer museum in Cheney, KS and enjoy a free egg hunt for kids, food truck, activities, face painting and a special surprise! Donations accepted.

Family Egg Dip at Derby Recreation Commission from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Enjoy a fun family recreational swim and EGG HUNT IN THE POOL! All ages welcome. Admission is $7 at the door for a family of four; $1 extra for each additional family member.

Hop, Hunt, & Brunch at Chicken N Pickle Wichita from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a brunch buffet, photos with the Easter Bunny, and a kids’ pickleball mini clinic at this EGGscellent spring weekend event.

Palm Sunday Petting Zoo at Cross Road Church from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participate after Worship Services in a special free event and hot dog lunch on the front lawn of the church. Kids can pet and pose with 15+ animals.

Haysville Recreation Easter Egg Hunt 2025 at 3 p.m. An Easter egg hunt with surprises and fun for the whole family in Dorner Park.

Easter Events in Wichita: Saturday, April 19, 2025

Easter Bunny Brunch at Stearman Field at 8 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be there and is hiding thousands of eggs. Breakfast buffet with a pancake-topping station opens at 8 a.m. and the grand arrival of the Easter Bunny is at 10 a.m. A fun egg hunt takes place at noon when the buffet ends. Adults $17.99 and kids ages 2-12 $10.99

Easter Eggstravaganza at Sedgwick County Zoo from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Easter Bunny has hidden giant eggs around the zoo. As you make your way around the zoo, count how many eggs you see and receive a prize on your way out! Enjoy Easter goodies, free photos with the Easter Bunny, and more, included with general admission.

Park City Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Enjoy the annual Park City Easter egg hunt at Hap Mclean Park off of North Hydraulic. Egg hunts will be divided into age groups every 10 minutes starting at 10 a.m.

Mt. Hope Community Organization Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. The annual egg hunt at Mt. Hope Sports Complex.

Hop, Hunt, & Brunch at Chicken N Pickle Wichita from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy an a la carte brunch, photos with the Easter Bunny, and a kids’ pickleball mini clinic at this EGGscellent Easter weekend event.

Midian Shrine Annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a delightful day outdoors at Orchard Park, meet the Easter Bunny, and let the little ones search for colorful eggs. Free for kids and only $5 for adults who would like to eat. Please RSVP on the Facebook event so they know you’re coming.

The Great Candy Hunt at Eberly Farm from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy a day on the farm and an Easter candy hunt for $5 per person (not just per child). Kids age two and under get free admission. Egg hunts are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Barrel train rides and a hot dog lunch are available for additional fees.

The Great Jurassic Egg Hunt at Field Station: Dinosaurs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Embark upon a thrilling egg hunt along the dino trails; discover hidden treasures, unearth surprises, and collect 10 different colored eggs; participate in numerous fun and challenging games and activities throughout the day. Garden Plain Chamber of Commerce Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. Meet at the pickleball court in Garden Plain’s City Park on Saturday, April 19 for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Free and open to the public.

Derby Recreation Commission Egg Hunt at High Park ball fields at 11 a.m. Bring your basket, enjoy the age-specific egg hunts, and visit with the Easter Bunny! Free.

Easter Events in Wichita: Sunday, April 20, 2025

Easter Egg Hunt at Wichita First Church at 10 a.m. Free and open to every kid from birth through 5th grade. Play games, enjoy giveaways, photo opps, candy, eggs (not real ones, ha ha), and more on the west lawn of the church. Egg hunters will be separated by age to make it fair for everyone, and they’ll have a separate area just for kids with additional needs so everyone can participate and have fun. 1400 E. Hop, Hunt, & Brunch at Chicken N Pickle Wichita from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a brunch buffet, photos with the Easter Bunny, and a kids’ pickleball mini clinic at this EGGscellent Easter Sunday event.

Immanuel Baptist Church Easter egg hunt and Easter worship service from 10 a.m. to noon Show up early for the egg hunt for kids age 2 years to 6th grade, then stay for a donut and the 10:45 a.m. Easter morning service at Immanuel. Prize drawings that include gift cards will be handed out following the service. Free.

Easter Egg Hunt 2025 at West Heights UMC at 11:15 a.m. Bring your children ages one through 5th grade for an egg hunt, sweet treats, and celebrating the joy of Easter in a safe, indoor setting. Participants are invited to worship at 10 a.m. 745 N. Westlink Ave, Wichita KS
