The City of Andover is hosting its annual Eggsplore: Andover Easter Egg Hunt, a fun, free event at Central Park in Andover, Kansas. Open to the public, this family-friendly celebration is a perfect way to welcome spring and enjoy the Easter season together. This is just one of many Easter Events near Wichita this year.
This year, they will have over 17,000 Eggs!

The event starts at 9 a.m., with the Egg Hunt beginning promptly at 10 a.m., followed by a variety of family-friendly activities. After the hunt, children and families are encouraged to stay and enjoy kite flying in the park and activities inside the Lodge.
The egg hunt is designed for children ages 1-10, but all family members are welcome to join in the fun! The eggs will be divided into different age groups.
What to Expect at the Andover Egg Hunt:
- Easter activities and crafts will be at the Lodge from 9 am – noon.
- The Egg Hunt starts right at 10 a.m.
- There will be beverages and brunch items available to purchase with a credit card (no cash) in the Lodge from 9 a.m. – noon.
- Free photobooth inside the Lodge
- Hope Community Church will provide activities and entertainment in front of the stage, including bubbles, sidewalk chalk, egg-and-spoon races, and more!
- Egg Hunt age groups:
- Under 2 years old
- 2-5 years old
- 6 & up
- There will also be a sensory-friendly zone, welcoming all ages.
