Boats and Bikes is an outdoor rental company located at River Vista on the Arkansas River and operated by WSU’s Shocker Rowing.
You can cool off on the river by renting a kayak, SUP (stand-up paddleboard), or pedal boat, or you can work up a sweat on the sidewalk with a bike, scooter, or trikke. They are open for the season, starting June 1 – August 1. The Boats & Bikes company is located in the basement of the River Vista Apartments.
Kayaks, SUP, and bicycle rentals are $20 an hour. Pedal boats are $30 an hour. Trikkes and scooters rent for $10 an hour. Boats & Bikes also has season passes available.
Life vests are required for all water equipment and are included in the price of your rental. Lockers may also be available to rent. You can book online in advance to secure your spot.
Boats and Bikes is at 150 N. McClean, Wichita, KS 67203. Parking is available on the top level of the River Vista parking garage.
