The 2015 Blacktop Nationals is back in Wichita starting Friday, August 21, 2015. This will be the sixth year for the huge car show and community event in downtown Wichita.
The muscle cars, hot rods, and motorcycles will be the main draw, but almost anyone can find something to enjoy, from live entertainment, retail and food vendors, and beer gardens. It’s free to walk around downtown and enjoy the show and the buzz of activity, and it’s only $5 (free for kids 6 and younger) to go inside Century II to see the Million Dollar Car display, Gasoline Alley with 9 decades of racing cars and memorabilia, and the vendor booths. Bring some cash for food, drinks, and vendor booths. Some of the fun driving attractions may also charge a fee.
Blacktop Nationals events will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in downtown Wichita, in and around the Century II Convention Center.
