It must be Spring because Art at the Arb is back for 2024. This event celebrates springtime by featuring a weekend-long celebration of springtime featuring local artists, live music, blooming tulips, great food, and the arboretum’s fantastic garden landscapes.
On Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, the Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine will host “Art at the Arb”.
The Bartlett Arboretum is a historic, nonprofit arboretum in Belle Plaine, Kansas. It is a private 20-acre park roughly 30 30-minute drive south of Wichita. It is the only arboretum of maturity between the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi River.
The Bartlett Arboretum is home to massive cypresses, oaks, Japanese maples, and State Champion Trees. For over 100 years, it has drawn visitors from across the United States and around the world to be inspired by this unique and unlikely sanctuary on the plains. The historic property is home to hundreds of varieties of trees and plants—both native and exotic. The Bartlet Arboretum is now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and hosts several events throughout the year, including the Tree House Concert Series. – from the Chamber of Commerce
