The Kansas Maze is on the Gaebbert family farm in Buhler, KS, about 50 min from Wichita. They have more than 600,000 Sunflowers for you to see. Each year, they have a multi-week festival whenever the Sunflowers bloom, so the dates are never exactly set until the flowers are in bloom.
Who else is ready to take a sunny stroll and check out some sunflowers? It’s the perfect time of year to soak up some sunshine and appreciate one of nature’s most vibrant gifts. Kansas is known as the Sunflower State for a reason, and this festival is one of them! This is a must-see.

Kansas Maze Sunflowers Fields
- Walk the giant maze that was started in 1999 in the Sunflower fields.
- The Sunflowers spread over roughly 20 acres of land.
- With each general admission ticket, you can choose one sunflower to take home.
- You can also purchase additional sunflowers if you wish.
- There are FREE photo props along the path, so make sure to bring your camera.
- Their fun Playland activities include a jumping pillow, tire tunnel, lookout tower, sandbox, and more.

Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival 2026
Enjoy the farm to see their sunflowers take picutes and enjoy the outdoors and activites.

The Sunflower Craft Market at Kansas Maze is a fun way to enjoy sunflower season while shopping local. Each year, Kansas Maze hosts this special outdoor market featuring local craft and food vendors, handmade products, vintage and home décor, baked goods, live music, food trucks, and more.
Bring your friends or family, grab some lunch from a local food truck, shop the vendors, and then take a stroll through the beautiful sunflower and zinnia fields. It’s a great fall outing for all ages and a fun opportunity to take photos among the flowers while supporting local businesses.

Discounted Admission
One of the best parts of the Sunflower Craft Market is the special discounted admission from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on market day. Regular $10 admission begins after 3:00 pm.

Sunflower Trail Run at Kansas Maze

This unique trail run lets participants run, jog, or walk through more than 20 acres of beautiful sunflowers. Choose between a 5K or 1-mile course for a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by sunflower fields.
