The 22nd annual WSU Spring Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2017! The theme this year is “Animals on Parade.” (There’s also a rain date scheduled for April 29 just in case.) Get free admission and have lots of fun with the family.
The Family Carnival is held every year by the WSU Student Activities Council. The fun and games will be set up on the Rhatigan Student Center east patio on the WSU campus and include activities for all ages.
I’ve heard they’ll have pony rides, inflatables, face-painting and other fun for the whole family. You may even get to see Wu. They’ll definitely have kiddie carnival games.
Some of the activities are free, and others require tickets, which are very inexpensive! Tickets are just 25¢ each or 5 for $1. (Cash or check only.)
Examples of ticket use:
- Inflatables 2-3 tickets each
- Games 1-2 tickets each
- Snack Stand (example: cotton candy) 2 tickets each
Cash concessions may also be offered, so plan a little bit of spending money for those.
Every year I hear from families who say this is really a fun event. Make sure to take the kiddos if you have the afternoon free!
