Winter Wonderland at Naftzger Park is a FREE event courtesy of Wichita Park & Recreation. It is the best FREE event with s’mores, Santa, hot cocoa, holiday lights, and more. This event is crafted to spread holiday joy throughout the community.
Wander through the park while enjoying the brilliant lights and whimsical decorations. Immerse yourself in delightful music and live entertainment at the Evergy Pavilion, creating enduring memories that will warm your heart for years to come.
When is Winter Wonderland at Naftzger Park? December 5, 2025
Feel the warmth of the season as you roast s’mores by crackling fire pits, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, and watch out for the playful Grinch, who might just stir up some festive mischief! Sip on rich hot cocoa as timeless holiday melodies fill the air, wrapping you in the cozy spirit of the season.
Capture the magic at one of the festive photo stations, where you and your loved ones can create picture-perfect memories beneath twinkling lights. And don’t miss the chance to send your wishes straight to the North Pole! Write a letter to Santa, and he’ll send a reply back before Christmas.
Indulge in the sweetness of the season with candy canes and cookies that add an extra sprinkle of joy to your night. Then, gather around at 6pm sharp, as two children from our Miracle League of Wichita flip the switch to light the holiday tree, illuminating the park in dazzling festive brilliance.
