Wichita Park & Recreation is hosting a Snow Glow event at the Mid-America All-Indian Center again this year. It’s a night sledding event you’ll never forget, featuring an LED light show, firepits, food trucks, and snow provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers.
This is a nighttime sledding event for the whole family.
You bring the (non-metal) sled, they’ll bring the snow. Also, make sure to have your already-completed waiver, some cash for dinner from the on-site food truck, and boots, gloves, hats, and anything else you need to dress warm!
(If you need a break from flying down the hill, cozy up next to the firepit during the event.)
Wichita’s nighttime sledding event will be held on January 31, 2026 (it was the 17 but moved to the 24 and now rescheduled for the 31st), from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tell your friends!! This could also be a fun Date Night Activity.

$15 for ages 3 + at the All-American All-Indian Museum
Only a limited number of tickets will be sold, and you must pre-register.

**This event depends on the weather. They will need a few nights prior to the event in the low 20s to produce enough snow accumulation. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, the date will be rescheduled to January 31. Visit the Facebook event page for weather updates.
