The Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum celebrates its 80th anniversary this year!
To mark the occasion, it will have a special exhibit called 80 Years of History in the Making, which tells the story of how five generations worked to collect, preserve, and educate through the interpretation of our own local history.
The exhibit opening on April 20, 2019 is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend to see this exhibit.
The Museum will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. that Saturday afternoon.
WSCHM is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and has been a great asset to our community. It’s been one of our family’s favorite museums, and the history of our area is truly fascinating. Definitely make a point to go if you can.More Free and Cheap Things to Do this Week
