The 40th annual Wichita Asian Festival will be held October 23, 2021 at the Century II Convention Center. The 2020 Wichita Asian Festival was canceled for the safety of all involved.
The festival celebrates the culture and customs of Asia with stage presentations, authentic food, and wares from about 15 different Asian countries. The Asian festival in Wichita attracts crowds in the neighborhood of 10,000 people, along with numerous vendors, performance groups, and volunteers who work to put on the event.
Admission to the Wichita Asian Festival is FREE. The festival is generally held on a Saturday evening in the Convention Hall from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The festival features live performances highlighting a variety of elements from Asian culture, as well as the Miss Wichita Asian Festival pageant. Vendors will have booths at the festival offering authentic art and cuisine. Activities for children and adults will provide an opportunity to learn about Asian customs, clothing, and culture.
