- Attend batting practice before the same starts. Gates usually open 60 min prior to game time.
- Check out the kid’s play area with blowups and games.
- The Wind Surge offers children 12 and under the opportunity to run the bases after all Sunday home games. Listen to the public address announcer for specific directions on the Kids Run the Bases. The child must be accompanied by one adult if the child is unable to run the bases on their own. Children will line up to come down to the field in section 1.
- Check out the Baseball Museum located inside Riverfront Stadium. The museum features trivia and historical artifacts showcasing Wichita’s baseball history, including Wichita’s all-black baseball team the Monrovians, the National Baseball Congress (NBC), along with preserved components of Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Admission to the Museum is FREE.

Parking For the Games:
Now, on to the most important question: Where to park for a game at Riverfront Stadium? This was a big question back when the stadium was being built, and it’s a fair question. You don’t want to be driving around in circles downtown when the game’s about to start!
The City of Wichita has produced a map showing available parking lots. The map differentiates between free and paid parking (just look at the legend).

Unfortunately, it looks like most of the parking nearest to the stadium is paid but you can always take the FREE Q-line downtown.
