Bike Walk Wichita is hosting “Walking Wednesdays” again in 2022. The regularly scheduled walks began with the last Wednesday in March and will continue for eight total weeks. Some fun places are scheduled for this year’s walks.
These will be hour-long walks that are free and open to anyone to join. Each Walking Wednesday event will be held at 6 p.m., but each will be at different locations around the community.
What a great way to not only get active, but explore different parks in Wichita.
Spring Walking Wednesdays Schedule
Here is the schedule of walks and park locations will will happen through May:
- March 30 — Sedgwick County Park (13th Street parking lot)
- April 6 — Great Plains Nature Center
- April 13 — Evergreen Community Center & Library
- April 20 — Cessna Park East
- April 27 — Ark River Path
- May 5th — Clapp Park
- May 11th — Redbud Path
- May 18th — Douglas Murals
