Volunteer Opportunity: Fall Work Day in the Park

If you are looking for a way to get outside and work on projects that make a difference, look no further!

The Great Plains Nature Center and Wichita Parks and Recreation have partnered to offer this opportunity to get outside, earn volunteer hours, and contribute to the maintenance of the beautiful park.

Join the team on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in your warm work gear on the front lawn of Great Plain Nature Center.

Nice warm pants and good sturdy shoes are a must. Oh, and don’t forget your water bottle!

From 9 a.m. to 12 pm, there will be several different projects that you can help out with.
