In honor of “May the Fourth be with you” Day, there are some fun ways to celebrate this Saturday.
But first, in case you didn’t know, “May the Fourth be with you” is a fun way to greet Star Wars fans on May 4th. The fun pun is a reference to the Jedi farewell, “May the Force be with you”, in the Star Wars movies.

- Andover Public Library is celebrating Star Wars Day AND Free Comic Book Day this Saturday. You can find more information in our article about Free Comic Book Day.
- Barnes and Noble is hosting a Star Wars LEGO event on Saturday, May 4th, at 2 p.m. They are inviting all Star Wars fans to join in an afternoon of Star Wars themed LEGO play. They will provide the inspiration for Star Wars themed builds that you can design and create in store. There will also be photo ops and giveaway posters (while supplies last). *The LEGO are for use in store only at the event. To join in the fun, Sign up HERE.
- Aero Plains Brewing is hosting a Star Wars Trivia fundraiser for Wichita’s Littlest Heroes on Saturday, May 4th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sign up on the day of the event starting at noon. Space is limited. The cost is $10 per individual or $25 per team. (Each team can have up to 5 members.) There will be prizes for individual and team champs and special t-shirts for sale.
- Rose Hill Recreation Commission is hosting a special FREE Star Wars Day yoga event at the high school football field on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 9-11 a.m. Bring your own mat if you have one, and go to yoga you must!
