Don’t be so quick to toss out your Starbucks receipt. It’s time again for its Sweet Receipt promo. Through Feb. 2, bring back your morning receipt (from before 2 p.m.) and get any bakery treat for just $1 after 2 p.m. The La Boulange line of bakery items ranges in price from about $1.50 to $3.45 (at most locations), so it’s a great deal — especially if you get one of the higher-priced treats. The offer is while supplies last and is not valid on breakfast sandwiches. Remember, you do not have to redeem your receipt at the same location at which you made your morning purchase — any participating location will honor the receipt.
For the budget-conscious, there’s no minimum purchase requirement for the morning receipt, so consider buying a petite vanilla scone for $1.25 or a banana for $1 to keep your costs down. If you’re buying a morning round of coffee for the office (or, at least, buying more than one menu item), pay for each item separately. Then, you’ll have more Sweet Receipts to share with friends and family.
