Sharing is caring!
National Coffee Day is on Sept. 29 and the world’s largest coffee chain is celebrating in a big way. But Starbucks is not just offering a National Coffee Day deal this year – it’s also marking a significant milestone for the company: 50 years in business.
Starbucks National Coffee Day 2021 deals
So it’s fitting that Starbucks is giving us three options for FREE coffee for National Coffee Day 2021:
Free brewed Pike Place Roast Coffee
In celebration of Starbucks 50th anniversary, the brand is inviting customers to bring a clean, empty, reusable cup (up to 20 fl. oz.) into participating café locations in the U.S. on National Coffee Day (September 29) to receive a free cup of Pike Place® Roast brewed coffee.
Pike Place Roast represents Starbucks decades of coffee roasting experience, knowledge, and passion. Named after the location of the original store in Seattle’s Pike Place Market that opened in 1971, Pike Place Roast is Starbucks signature medium roast coffee served in stores everyday around the world.
Free coffee at Starbucks Reserve
Select Starbucks Reserve locations, including the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in Seattle, Chicago and New York City, are also celebrating on National Coffee Day. On September 29, customers who bring in a clean, empty, reusable cup into the store will receive a free Starbucks Reserve coffee or cold brew.
When you use the Starbucks Reserve locator map, three locations show up in Wichita. I do not know for sure if these locations will be offering the free Reserve or cold brew cups, but bring your clean, empty, reusable cup anyway because you’ll either get the free Pike Place Roast or the upgraded Reserve or cold brew.
Free Pike Place Roast to brew at home
Customers can also continue the celebration by signing up for a free Pike Place® Roast packaged coffee to brew and enjoy at home. Visit athome.starbucks.com/50th-anniversary-celebration on National Coffee Day, September 29 for details. Limit one per customer. Available while supplies last.
