Coffee lovers can stay buzzed all day “on the cheap” with these National Coffee Day deals. National Coffee Day is September 29 every year, but some of the deals are available before and after!
If any food or beverage deserves a National Day, it’s coffee…it’s the stuff that many of us run on. Me especially. As the wife of a home roaster, I’m a little bit lot spoiled to have amazing coffee nearly every day.
If you don’t happen to have a coffee roaster in your family, here’s another idea for National Coffee Day… Celebrate locally at one of your favorite Wichita coffee shops!
We have a treasure trove of great local coffee shops in the Wichita area, as well as local roasters. One of my favorites is Fresh Roast Coffee Company, which sells beans each week from the Ffarquhar Building.

Starbucks National Coffee Day special
In celebration of Starbucks 50th anniversary, the company is inviting customers to bring in a clean, empty, reusable cup (up to 20 fl. oz.) into participating café locations in the U.S. on National Coffee Day (September 29) to receive a free cup of Pike Place® Roast brewed coffee. Starbucks is marking the milestone anniversary with its customers to share how grateful they are for being part of their community and daily life.

Dunkin National Coffee Day deal
The donut shop is celebrating National Coffee Day by offering its DD Perks members a FREE medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase.
The complimentary medium hot or iced coffee includes Dunkin’s Original Blend or Dunkin’s Limited Batch Series coffees, 100% Guatemalan Hot Coffee or Dunkin’ Midnight Hot Coffee. The offer excludes Nitro and Cold Brew coffees.
Casey’s
After launching a new breakfast lineup earlier this month, including fresh bean-to-cup coffee, Casey’s is celebrating National Coffee Day at its more than 2,200 locations. The new on-demand brewing process promises customers a fresh-brewed cup every time.
The “famous for pizza” convenience store chain is offering a FREE small coffee with any purchase using Casey’s Rewards — from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2.
Krispy Kreme National Coffee Day
A good cup of coffee and donut will always be the perfect pairing. Enjoy a special treat at Krispy Kreme, along with your coffee. The donut chain is giving Reward members can receive a FREE brewed coffee and doughnut of their choice (no purchase necessary) and non-rewards members can receive a free brewed coffee.
Also, all vaccinated customers a FREE donut every day for the rest of the year and that includes National Coffee Day, Sept. 29.
Pilot Flying J
To celebrate National Coffee Day, Pilot Flying J is treating guests to a free cup of coffee (any size!) on Sept. 29 through the Pilot Flying J app. Guests can choose from any size dispensed hot, iced, or cold brew Pilot coffee.
It’s also celebrating drivers throughout the month of September with freebies and special offers on its app, so be sure to download it if you’re planning a road trip. It looks like they have locations in Salina, Emporia, and Ponca City.

When you have the McDonald’s app, you get a FREE McCafe drink after you’ve purchased 5. There are other deals on the app too, but this deal is most applicable to National Coffee Day. 🙂 (If you want the free coffee faster, I guess you could buy coffee for five of your friends!)
