Wichita on the Cheap

Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

St. Anne Festival

St. Anne Catholic Church in Wichita will once again host its annual festival this September. This is a family-friendly event with food, music, and activities, and it is open to the public.

The Festival kicks off with a free outdoor movie on Friday night. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be kid-friendly. Cash concessions will be available for purchase. In case of rain, the movie will be moved to the church auditorium.

There are no public activities on Saturday, but on Sunday the St. Anne Festival continues with fun activities for the whole family. They’ll have a food court with Mexican, Vietnamese, and American foods from Lalo’s Express, Kolace, Ty’s Diner, and the church congregation. You’ll need to purchase food cards in $5 increments to use in the food court.

Live music by Dangie begins at 1:30, and they’ll have a flag ceremony and national anthem at 2 p.m. From 4-6 p.m., Banda Coralejo will provide the live music.

Other activities that day include a carnival, inflatables for the kids, a safe “dart war zone” in the church gym, petting zoo, train rides and more. For adults, there will be a 4 on 4 volleyball tournament, a hole-in-one competition, and Bingo (donations accepted for Bingo cards).

Admission to the St. Anne Catholic Church Festival is free. Just plan some cash for food court cards if you would like to enjoy the various cuisines.
