You’ve probably heard of the brand new Splash Aqua Park that opened last summer in Wichita, Kansas.
It’s a totally new summer entertainment option for our city, and should help keep the kids busy all summer long. The new water park in Wichita plans to be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day this summer beginning on May 30, 2020.
To make the process of checking in faster and safer, fill out your waiver online. It only needs to be done once per year.
You can also purchase your tickets online in advance.
Please note: If new or greater restrictions are put in place for Kansas or Sedgwick County, some events may be canceled. Please use the links we provide in each post to double-check all events before you go.
The Splash water park is an actual floating obstacle course on a small lake in the Crossgate District. The course is made up of inflatable runways, bounces, wiggle bridges, swings, ladders, trampolines and everything in between.
There’s even a sandy beach at the edge of the water for us in the coastless Midwest.
Splash Aqua Park is located at 860 W Steeple Bay Parkway in Wichita.
Splash Aqua Park Prices
The regular price for a one-hour pass is $15 per person. But there are also a few ways to save, which we’ve listed below. (And we’ll let you know the minute we hear about others).
How to Save on Passes to Splash Aqua Park ICT
We don’t anticipate a whole lot of discounts for the Wichita water park, but there definitely ARE some ways to save on this fun summer attraction.
Friends and Family Nights
Save money every Monday when you visit Splash Aqua Park from 4-7 p.m. with a group of 5 or more people for the friends and family night deal of $5 off the ticket price.
Note: You have to pay as a group.
It should be pretty easy to round up a group of five kids in the summer time to go to a water park, so this is a terrific discount you could probably take advantage of weekly.
For the Splash Family Night discount, you will have to purchase tickets in person, but you can still fill out and sign the waivers in advance.
2-hour or 5-hour passes
The first way you can save is to buy passes for multiple hours. A 2-hour pass is $25 and a 5-hour punch pass is $50. This effectively makes your price only $10 per hour, which is a $5 savings.
Both passes can only be used by one individual.
Members of the military will get a 10% discount at Splash Aqua Park with ID.
Group/Party discounts at Splash Aqua Park
If you want to take a group of people to the water park, you can definitely take advantage of group discounts.
A group of 10 or more people will receive a discount of 10% per person, and a group of 20 or more will get 20% off per person. The discount is off the regular price of water park passes, and can’t be combined with other offers.
You can purchase group passes for either one-hour or two-hour sessions.
Spectators can watch the fun for free. Go here if you want to book a party at Splash ICT.
Black Friday Special
We don’t know if they’ll do this again but last year Splash Aqua Park had a Black Friday special good for the first 200 purchasers. The deal was buy one summer season pass at regular price and get the second one at half off.
Paddle Board Rentals
The fun continues at Splash Aqua Park with Paddle Board rentals!
From Kellogg, you wouldn’t realize just how much open water there is at Splash Aqua Park, but once you get your feet on a board or in a kayak, you’ll be paddling for quite a while.
Paddle board rentals are $10 an hour, with life jackets included.
