Southwest Airlines is having an airfare sale through September 24, 2015, and we in Wichita get to participate this time. Fares out of Eisenhower International Airport (did I get that name right?) are as low as $86 one way. That’s if you want to fly to Dallas.
Chicago will cost you only $99 one way, and Las Vegas is $114.
Of course there are special terms and conditions with airfare deals this good. A 14-day advance purchase is required, you can travel from September 22 to March 3, there are blackout dates, and there’s a long list of other fine print, which you can read here. But check it out – maybe one of the dates will work for you!

They have these sales often & Wichita is usually included…nothing new with this sale 🙁
Point taken. It doesn’t actually have to be new to be a good deal, but I wrote “we get to participate this time,” so I see what you’re saying. Long ago, before Southwest was in Wichita, I would see my colleagues at “on the Cheap” sites in other cities write about them and I was always disappointed that we didn’t have those sales here. Now we do, so I was excited to write about it. 🙂
