If you’re thinking about switching wireless providers, upgrading to a new phone, or buying an additional smartphone, this offer might be of interest. Amazon Wireless is offering best-selling Android phones from Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile for 1¢, along with free 2-day shipping, when you purchase a new line of service.
If you choose Sprint, you’ll also receive credit of $36 to go toward your activation fee. The activation credit offer is valid until May 14, 2012.
I’m not saying that it’s not a great deal but you can get unlimited minutes, messaging, and 2gb of data at T-Mobile for 79.99. That is 50.00 less than verizon, 40.00 less than att, and 20.00 less than sprint (and you don’t pay overage when you call or are called by a landline. Since a great smart phone is about 600 at full price then you can buy multiple smart phones with the plan price difference
Great to get a smart phone for a penny but only an idiot would pay for the service at att, verizon, or sprint. ATT unlimited minutes and messaging with 3gb of data for 119.99, sprint has unlimited “everything” for 99.99 (the everything does not include calls to or from landlines), and my personal favorite is VERIZON at a whopping 129.99 for unlimited minutes and messaging but only 2gb of data. Yeah it makes sense to pay that much every month because yay! I’m getting a smartphone for a penny!
