The original founding members of Sly and the Family Stone will perform in Wichita this Saturday, September 1, 2012 in an outdoor concert. Tickets are only $10.
The concert is part of The Kansas African-American Museum’s We Are Family Reunion events. It will be held at the Keeper of the Plains Plaza from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Be sure to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Sly and the Family Stone are well-known for their hits “Everyday People,” “Dance to the Music,” and “Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin.” Jerry Martini (saxophone), Cynthia Robinson (trumpet), and Greg Errico (drums), are the founding members who will be performing in Wichita.
