This May, the City of Wichita and KWLS (107.9 FM) are hosting a big event for Old Cowtown Museum. The Real American Country Fest will be two days of jam packed family entertainment, culminating in a concert each day by iconic country artists:
Mark Chesnutt (yes, the Mark Chesnutt) will perform for Saturday’s concert and Joe Diffie (the Joe Diffie) will perform for Sunday’s concert.
In addition to the concert each day, families can enjoy:
- A car show
- Chuckwagon feed demos
- Pony rides
- Pig races
- Petting farm
- Farm equipment
- Gospel sing-a-long
- Non-stop live music from the region’s best Country, Red Dirt, and Bluegrass bands.
The Real American Country Fest will be held May 14 and 15, 2016 at Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita. Tickets are $20 for each day for ages 13 and up, and are available now via WichitaTix.com or at Cowtown. The proceeds will benefit Cowtown. Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you that tickets for kids 12 and younger are FREE. Yeehah!
