Sharing is caring!
Right now, through Veterans Day, November 11, Amazon is offering a discount on Prime membership for veterans and active military. Not only is this a good deal, it’s also a good deal that’s available to existing Prime members!
That makes it kind of a great deal, really, because usually membership discounts are only for new signups. Not in this case. So make sure you share it with all of your service-member friends, because if they’ve already got Prime, they know how great it is and will want to renew at $40 bucks off the yearly price.
To receive the promotional price, you must be a verified U.S. veteran, Active Duty or Reserve or National Guard member. They have a form you can fill out to get verified.
To get the deal, go to amazon.com/veteransdaypromo
In case you don’t know why the big deal about Prime, it’s way more than free two-day shipping (although that is so handy). I have it because it’s the best streaming TV service I’ve used and also for the free ebooks and music that Prime members are eligible for. Oh, and free cloud storage for photos. I’m probably forgetting some other perk of having Prime, but suffice it to say it’s worth looking into. I definitely like it.

I am a Veteran and just found where I could get the discount on Amazon Prime. I see the end date was yesterday, any chance this could be extended.
It was an Amazon deal, but I don’t think they have extended it, since I’m not seeing the the promotion any more. 🙁
i am a veteran and heard that we could get a discount if we enrolled for Amazon Prime. trouble is, i just found where i could discuss with someone, is there any extension to the 11/11 date.
