Take the kids to a special family-friendly and budget-friendly Paint the Towne event.
These $10 Paint Classes are for ages 5 and up (no exceptions), and feature super-cute one-hour paintings like you see in the image below.
Each week, there are different themed paintings. The instructors will guide participants step by step on how to paint the picture. They will provide the paint and canvases and even clean up the mess. All you have to do is show up with your own snacks!
Because these are one-hour classes and they’re on a strict schedule, be sure to arrive about 15 minutes early to get settled in. Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late won’t be able to paint.
If you’re bringing the kids, I would also recommend bringing the kids in clothes that you don’t mind if they get paint on them, just in case! Paint the Towne does provide paint aprons for the kids to wear, but you can never be too careful when it comes to kids and paint!
They do also offer $8 to-go paint kits that would make for a fun winter break activity.
$10 Paint Days from Paint the Towne LLC
For only $10 per painter, kids ages 5 and up will be able to paint on an 11×14 canvas. The painting will take an hour to complete. Painting begins at the scheduled time so you will want to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled in. Prepayment is required to reserve your spot for these classes.
