Attention all paddlers, (kayak, SUP, canoe, raft, etc.) Sunday, September 13 is YOUR day.
All are welcome to this PaddlePalooza; from pros to first timers.
This is a FREE event on September 13, from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bring your board, kayak, canoe, etc, a cooler with your favorite picnic fixins, drinks and a thirst for fun on the water.
NOTE: There are FREE kayak rentals available from Wichita Parks and Recreation with with a suggested donation of any amount for the Wichita Parks Foundation. Reserve your free kayak here.
Kayaks are also available to rent from Boats and Bikes.
The group will drop in around 1:30pm at the Gander Mountain launch point and have a leisurely cruise up to the Keeper of the Plains and gather the “flotilla” for photos.
The group will then head back and have a break with a social time and BYO picnic and drinks. After lunch there will be a second trip up to the keeper for a gorgeous sunset viewing.
