Looking for something fun and affordable to do for New Year’s Eve in Wichita? Here are all the inexpensive NYE events I’ve found so far!
Botanica Illuminations New Year’s Eve Fireworks: On the final night of Illuminations, enjoy the festive sounds of the Polished Brass Quintet through the evening, capped off by a rousing 10 minute fireworks premiere. 5:30-8:30 p.m. on December 31, 2016.
Dancing in Paradise New Year’s Eve Party: Dance the New Year in with party favors, live music from the Boomers, a champagne toast at midnight, and a big buffet breakfast at 12:15 a.m. Tickets are $40 (only $35 if you mention Wichita on the Cheap) and include your meal. Call (316) 871-9202 to purchase. 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on December 31, 2016.
BOB FM’s Rocking 80s New Year’s Eve Party: Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Paramount and The Astronauts take the stage at the Cotillion for a concert and dancing. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.
The Alley Indoor Entertainment has two parties: #1 from 6:30-9 p.m. and #2 from 10 p.m. -12:30 a.m. Both parties include pizza and soda, unlimited bowling, go karts, laser maze, and shoe rental for up to 6 people. The earlier party is $90 and the later party is $100.
New Year’s Eve at the Prairie Rose: Live show from Rusty Rierson and the Forever Young Band and special guest Les Gilliam, with chuckwagon supper, classic cowboy movies, and dancing. Ends at 10:30 p.m. $45 per person.
