The newest fun place to go in Wichita has just opened and they’ll be throwing a New Year’s Eve party for everyone in town!
Chicken n Pickle is part restaurant, part pickleball courts! It’s straight out of Kansas City – Wichita is only its second location, with one in San Antonio coming soon according to its website.
If you’re wondering what pickleball is, I don’t speak from experience, but it looks to be like a combination of tennis and ping pong. Players use a paddle to hit a wiffle ball over a net on a court that resembles a tennis court. I’d imagine it’s a lot more conducive to casual competition than actual tennis!
The New Year’s Eve celebration at Wichita’s Chicken n Pickle is for all ages from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 31, 2018.
Admission is FREE, and food and beverage will be available for purchase. They’ll have a DJ, Pickleball (of course!), and more games. For the kids, they’ll have a bounce house, face painter, and goody bags. and includes a bounce house, face painter, DJ, Pickleball, and games.
