It’s an event we look forward to each year around back-to-school time. The Museum of World Treasures Customer Appreciation Day is an opportunity to explore all the strange, quirky, fascinating and fun artifacts collected right here in Wichita, Kansas! It’s an eclectic collection that defies description – at this museum you can see John Wayne’s suit, an Egyptian mummy, a shrunken head (!), dinosaurs, western memorabilia, items from military history, and more. If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for??? It’s fun!
And on Customer Appreciation Day, not only is admission discounted to just $5, the museum also has special activities for the kids, educational presentations, and more. It’s a great day to visit, and at almost 70% off the regular adult admission price, it’s a great deal!
This year, the Museum of World Treasures Customer Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017.
Do bring your camera, but ask the staff about where photography is available and make sure to turn off the flash. Flash can damage these ancient treasures and we don’t want to do that!
