Museum of World Treasures Customer Appreciation Day

Sharing is caring!

It’s an event we look forward to each year around back-to-school time. The Museum of World Treasures Customer Appreciation Day is an opportunity to explore all the strange, quirky, fascinating, and fun artifacts collected right here in Wichita, Kansas, at a discount with special activities.

This event is Sunflower Summer eligible! If you qualify, use the Sunflower Summer app to gain free admission and enjoy all the event’s activities without any cost. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have not yet used their Sunflower Summer passes to visit and experience the extra activities before the program ends on August 3.

The museum houses an eclectic collection that defies description – you can see John Wayne’s suit, an Egyptian mummy, a shrunken head, dinosaurs, western memorabilia, items from military history, and more. If you haven’t been yet, this is a great opportunity. At this price it’s a real bargain.

Do bring your camera, but ask the staff about where photography is available and make sure to turn off the flash. Flash can damage these ancient treasures and we don’t want to do that!
