Enjoy a movie under the stars in Derby. The Derby Recreation Commission is hosting a Movie in the Park on Friday, August 20 at 8:30 p.m. They’ll be screening the sequel to DreamWorks’ prehistoric family movie, The Croods, A New Age.
The animated film features Nicolas Cage as Grug Crood, along with Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, and Peter Dinklage. It’s rated PG.
The Derby Rec Center movie in the park is a family-friendly, all ages event that’s free and open to the public.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for seating. Coolers will be allowed, but no alcohol permitted.
The movie will be shown at the High Park Amphitheater at 2801 James Street, Derby, KS 67037.
