Times are strange right now and local businesses are having to get creative with their service options in order to get their products to you.
We love our Wichita community and all of the unique, fun and tasty companies that make our town special. We wanted to find a way to help them (and you!) out so we have made a list of local businesses that you can support with online purchases, phone orders, or drive-through. We’ve listed them alphabetically to make it easier to find.

Awesome Toy Sale!!!, which is run by a local dad and his family, now has an online shop. You can shop for discounted and clearance-priced toys, games, outdoor fun, sports team merchandise and more and either pick up your order locally or get it delivered to your door.
All Star Sports is currently closed, but they have a few special offers that can be used at a future date:

Cake Stuff is a baking supply store in West Wichita that reopened for business on May 19th. They open at 10 am Tuesday – Saturday.
Corporate Caterers of Wichita announced on their Facebook page the offering of a “family survival kit” that includes a lot of foods and a few staples for $110 plus tax. You can pick it up, or they have delivery for an additional $10. (Thanks, Shayla!)
Damm Music Center is a full service music shop in West Wichita. They are currently offering curbside pickup, free delivery within a 5 mile radius of the store for orders of $50 or more, and order fulfillment on their website. Call or text 316-773-9060 or email DammMusic2003@gmail.com.
Hopping Gnome Brewing is doing virtual happy hours on Facebook. They also have some specials for Stout Saturday and Sunday Fun Day to keep you well-stocked in local brews.
Lucinda’s Old Town offers a variety of cheeky gifts, distinctive clothing and shoes, jewelry and unique accessories. Right now their store is closed, however, Lucinda’s is offering free porch drop off delivery within 15 miles of their shop on orders over $25, free shipping on gift certificates, and free shipping on orders over $50. They will ship anything you see on their social media page. Just message them at lucindas@cox.net (or through social media) and they will send a PayPal invoice.
Mosley Street Melodrama and Lucinda’s, Tanya’s Soup Kitchen have teamed up to offer a #supportlocal gift card deal. You can read the details here.
Milkfloat in Delano, makes homemade desserts, such as pies, pop tarts, cakes and cookies. They also make homemade ice cream, milkshakes, and a wide variety of hot and iced drinks. For the time being, they are shifting their service to curb-side pick up ONLY. Call them at (316) 558-8440 to place an order, and they will bring it to your car. Check out their social media page for the latest updates on available fresh baked goods. Milkfloat just announced they are closing for now. When this is over, we all need to go there and have a delicious dessert!
Nifty Nut House is a Wichita candy store staple. They offer a wide variety of bulk nuts, candy, and gum. They also offer prepackaged novelty candy treats and other goodies. Nifty Nut House is currently still open, so you can browse their selection in person (while practicing social distancing) or call in and have them either deliver to your car or ship to your house.
NuWAY Burgers is offering a Family Pack with 4 Original NuWays, onion rings, curly fries, AND a 2 liter of Root Beer for $19.99! Take-out and curbside service is available at their Douglas and E Central locations. Drive-thru is available at the Harry, Seneca, and W Central locations. Also, Uber Eats is available at the E Central location.
Orie’s Farm Fresh is a local option for seasonal fresh produce. Orie’s has a weekly email list you can subscribe to that will let you know what’s in season on the farm. They offer two no-contact options: farm gate pickup and local porch delivery. You can pay online.
Star Lumber has been a Wichita family owned and operated business for over 80 years. They specialize in building materials, home projects and flooring. They are currently open normal business hours. If you prefer, they are also offering a low-contact solution with their Load-N-Go pickup service. Simply fill out the online form or call them at ( Maple & West Street – 316.946.1518), (Greenwich & K96 – 316.636.2800). or (Star Distribution Center-3700 W. Irving- 316.946.1663) to place your order. They will pull your items and have them ready for you when you arrive.
Taco Pronto is now open for dine in as well as drive through. This family-owned and operated fast food restaurant has two locations, both in west Wichita. They serve tacos, burritos, sanchos, tostados, enchiladas, nachos, and desserts like fried ice cream, “Dessertos” and choco-tacos. A favorite frugal option is the Money-Saver Combo, which includes two tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, and a 16 oz. drink. They also recently brought back their popular daily specials.
The Alley Indoor Entertainment plans to open Friday, May 22!
Wave ICT is hosting an online farmers market. If you live in a 15-mile radius of Downtown Wichita, you can go to waveict.com/funkyfreshmarket to order food for delivery or pickup. This will give area farmers the opportunity to sell their produce online!
Wicked Stitch and The T-shirt Kitchen designs custom t-shirts for sale. You can design your own or choose one of theirs! They also have custom hats and koozies for sale. Currently, their stores are closed, but you can still order online. All orders are currently being shipped or delivered for free! Also, they are selling special Together We Rise ICT tees.
