Kids Bowl Free is a program that has been around for over 15 years, and if you register, Kids can bowl FREE in Wichita or surrounding areas all Summer long. You can also purchase a family pass for a discount for adults to join in on the fun. This year, there are participating bowling alleys in Wichita, Derby, and Hutchinson. We have the full list below of all alleys participating in Kansas.
This is great when it gets too hot to play outside this summer (and at some point, it always does), go bowling!
The Kids Bowl Free program gives kids FREE bowling passes all summer. And yes, it is legit! Registration is typically the first of March, but you can sign up on the website to have them email you when registration is open. Sign up online at the Kids Bowl FREE Website, and every week, you’ll get an email that includes a week’s worth of free games–2 free games per day — at one of the participating area bowling alleys.

- More than 1,500 bowling centers around the globe provide 2 FREE Games of bowling each day to kids during the Spring and Summer. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer.
- Check the KidsBowlFree website for age limits and whether shoe rental is included at your chosen location. This is a great summer activity for kids and parents.
- You can purchase a Family Pass. The family pass is a one-time payment. It’s not per person, per week or per month. You pay just a single payment, and you can get 2 Games free all summer long for up to 4 adults during your center’s Kids Bowl Free hours.

*Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games each day of the KBF program, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations. The Alley has evenings and weekend times available.Every night except Friday and Saturday you can play until 10:00 p.m.
Seneca Bowl is on the SW side of town and has bowling until 10:00 p.m. every night except for Tuesday’s as well.
This is a great idea but the only bowling alley on the west side of Wichita is limited to 11-4 Monday through Friday … I’m at work during those times so it doesn’t do me a dang bit of good. Any way you can get them to expand those times? Maybe add a Sunday or at least move it back to 6 or 7? Even on my short days I’m at work til 3. Would take me 30 minutes to pick up my daughter and get to the West Acres Bowling alley, then I’m paying my part and shoes for 30 minutes. Not even worth it. I don’t have the gas to go all the way out east.
Great news! I went to the bowling alley this morning so I asked them about this. They said they have no plans to offer evening or weekend times because they have leagues bowling then, BUT – you only have to be there before 4 p.m. To redeem your Kids Bowl Free coupon; you don’t have to be finished by 4. I hope that helps!
