Mark your calendars for April 28th and get out and celebrate International Tabletop Day in Wichita!
What is International Tabletop Day?
International Tabletop Day is an annual worldwide event that celebrates the joy and fun of gathering with friends to play games on a tabletop or flat surface. These can be traditional board games or games played with cards, dice, tiles, or miniatures-just to name a few.
Where can I participate?
Wichita is lucky to have a great tabletop gaming community. You can read about the various Free and Inexpensive Places to Play Board Games in Wichita here. We also have local venues that will be hosting a variety of activities throughout the day on Saturday, April 28th.
Sente: Games & Refreshments
Sente (132 E. Douglas) has an exciting day of activities planned. They will start the day at 10 a.m. with game demos. You can also learn how to make a FREE wire wrapped dice pendant necklace to take home.
Let’m Eat Bräts Food Truck will be on site for lunch and Sente will have specialty drinks and pastries available for purchase throughout the day.
In the afternoon, there will be several more game demos including: Dungeons and Dragons, Meko card games, Sparkle Kitty and more!
From 8 p.m. to midnight, Shaken or Stirred Mobile Bartending will be serving up wine, beer and a special cocktail just for this event. For a complete list of events and times, visit the Sente Facebook event page.
Hero Complex Games and Entertainment
Hero Complex (2120 N. Woodlawn, Suite 314) is also hosting a FREE day of gaming on April 28th. The festivities will start at 11 a.m. No other details have been released about this event at this time. For updates, check the Hero Complex Facebook event page.
