Exploration Place in downtown Wichita is a big attraction in our city. It’s a premier Science Center with activities for all ages. In addition to their many permanent exhibits, they have numerous special exhibits, Live Science Shows, and shows in The Dome theater.
How to Visit Exploration Place on a Budget:
- FREE admissions are offered through the Museums for All program, which is open to anyone receiving federal food assistance by showing a SNAP EBT card.
- Exploration Place is also FREE to Blue Star families (active duty military) from Armed Forces Day from Memorial Day – Labor Day.
- Use the Summer Sunflower app to get FREE admission. Each Kansas student (pre-K to 12th grade) and up to two adults can access a voucher to get in free to each of the participating Sunflower Summer attractions. Exploration Place participates in this program.
- Another FREE way to visit is by checking out passes from local libraries.
