The Haven Fall Festival is coming up Friday and Saturday, October 7-8, 2016. On Friday at 8 p.m., enjoy live music from Lawless – an event for guests age 21 and older – at Shep Chevrolet parking lot. Then on Saturday, wake up early for the 5K walk/run at 8 a.m. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, the Haven Fall Festival parade rolls along Kansas Avenue. Other events on Saturday are the Booster Club breakfast, a car show, inflatables for kids, and a craft show. A new event this year is tethered hot air balloon rides on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The evening features entertainment by Big Time Grain Company and fireworks after the concert! A schedule of events is posted on the Haven Chamber of Commerce website (schedule is subject to change). Most events are at the downtown square on Kansas Avenue and Main Street. Some events and activities require a festival button, which is $4, or a kid’s wrist band for $5.
