UPDATE: The event has changed slightly, but still sounds like it will be a fun time (and cheap!). It’s actually even a better deal. Here are the new details:
The Kansas Underground Salt Museum will hold its “Halloween Spooktacular” on October 28, 2012, from 1 – 6:30 p.m. The event will include a gallery tour, dark ride, and the train ride for only $10 IF you are wearing a costume! Tours depart every 20 minutes; the last tour that day will be at 4:20 p.m. Without a costume, the tours are regular price: $19 for adults ($17 for military, seniors, and AAA members), and $12.50 for kids ages 4-12, so dressing up in your scary best will save you up to $9 per ticket. Great deal for some spooky fun 650 feet underground.
UPDATE: This event may be sold out or no longer scheduled. As soon as I know more, I’ll let you know here in the post.
