It’s been great fun seeing the response to the Walking with Dinosaurs giveaway here at Wichita on the Cheap. I love reading the enthusiasm in all the entries, and you all have perfectly valid reasons to win! Except I’m not picking–I will leave that job up to the unfeeling, blank-hearted computers to randomly choose. And as much as we all hate to face it, the cold hard truth is that only one entrant is going to win free tickets to Walking with Dinosaurs.
But for everyone who is going to go–free tickets or no–here are two ways to get tickets on the cheap.
- Walking With Dinosaurs has two discounted performances. The Wednesday, April 21 performance and Sunday 5pm performance are $10 off the highest two price levels of tickets and $5 off the lowest price level ticket. No code needed!
- The Wednesday night performance for Walking With Dinosaurs at INTRUST Bank Arena has a great group discount. All price level tickets are $10 off for groups of 10 or more. Contact Michelle Hovick, Group Sales Manager, at 316-737-9062 to order group tickets.
(I wonder if Wichita on the Cheap readers would want to get together to be a group? Someone else would have to organize it. :D)

We had a great time at the Wednesday night performance of Walking with Dinosaurs with the winners of the giveaway. Thanks again to INTRUST Bank Arena for arranging it and for such GREAT SEATS!
Below is my little photo-journaling of the event. I couldn’t take flash pictures, but these might give you an idea of just how realistic and HUGE everything was. It was great fun, and the narrator’s character gave everyone facts but in a dramatic, and sometimes humorous, way. My daughter kept an eye on him the whole time, because he was right down there with the dinosaurs so it felt like he could get stepped on or eaten at any time! ?
