After 66 years of unrivaled fandom from its loyal customers, McDonald’s has finally launched its much-anticipated loyalty program nationwide, MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
The Golden Arches are celebrating the new program on National French Fry Day, July 13, by giving away its “World Famous Fries” for FREE at participating locations. No purchase necessary.

To join the FREE fry party, download the McDonald’s app, opt in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards and add the deal for medium fries to your cart. The offer is only available via Mobile Order & Pay on the app.
(By the way, Subway has also chosen July 13 as the day to give away free food!)
However, McDonald’s isn’t stopping the fun with just FREE fries. They’re also offering customers the chance to win one of two big prizes from July 13 to 20:
66 Regional Prizes — Sixty-six fans, one for every year of McDonald’s history, will have one million MyMcDonald’s Rewards points added to their account. That’s enough points for up to 666 rewards of FREE food. The prize will be awarded as 250,000 points in four deposits over a two-year period.
1 Grand Prize — One lucky fan will walk away with FREE fries for life. The prize will be awarded based on two medium fries per week (at $2.65 each) for 50 years.
To enter, all you have to do is share why you’re the most loyal McDonald’s fan on Twitter. Be sure to tag @McDonalds and include #MyMcDonaldsFanContest and your home state (for example, #CO, #FL, #TN, #WY, etc.) Review the official rules here. Submission are being judged by McDonald’s super fans, so be sure to bring your best fandom to the table.
