Would you like to enjoy music from some of Wichita’s stunning symphonic musicians in the setting of our city’s playful parks? Would it be even better if it was absolutely FREE?! A partnership between Wichita Parks and Recreations and musicians from the Wichita Symphony are making possible this unique event — “Playing in the Park,” Saturday, June 12, 2021.
These concerts are free to anyone and everyone!
Beginning at 7 p.m. at Naftzger Park downtown, Wichita Symphony Music Director Daniel Hege will conduct the WSO woodwinds in this FREE outdoor concert. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs for seating and enjoy this fun event.
