WAVE is a new indoor-outdoor venue in downtown Wichita. They’ve been holding concerts and events since September, but the official grand opening is October 19, 2018.
The grand opening event is FREE and open to the public. They’ll be celebrating with music from several local artists and local food trucks will be onsite.
WAVE will also be the location of the Prairieland Beer & Music Festival the very next day (Oct. 20).

The free grand opening event will be held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19.

A vendor told me last week that WAVE will also be the new location this year of the indoor Old Town Farmers Market during the winter months.
