Do you miss the Wichita farmers markets already? You don’t have to! Kansas Grown is going to be holding an Indoor Farmers Market one weekend per month throughout the colder months. Scroll down to see the complete schedule.
According to the group’s Facebook page, the market will have over 50 vendors. In years past, the indoor market had eggs, baked goods, meats, hand-crafted items, winter produce, and many other local items for sale.
The indoor farmers market season begins Saturday, November 11 and continues once per month through the colder months until March 10. (See schedule below.) Each market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon at the Sedgwick County Extension Center, located at 21st Street West and Ridge Road in Wichita. It will be held in the great big 4H hall.
Indoor farmers markets are scheduled throughout winter:
- November 11
- December 16
- January 13
- February 17
- March 10

Cost: No cost to attend, but bring some spending money for the market.
